Payment Methods

At Green and Sons, we offer secure and convenient payment options for your online purchases. All transactions are processed through encrypted connections and compliant payment gateways.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit / Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club.
  • Digital Wallets (if available at checkout): Apple Pay, Google Pay.

  • Gift Cards / Store Credit: Green and Sons gift cards (when offered).

2. Currency & Taxes

  • All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Applicable sales taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout based on your shipping address.

3. Authorization, Charges & Holds

  • For most orders, your card is authorized at checkout and charged when your order is confirmed.
  • For large equipment or special orders, a temporary authorization hold may appear on your statement until shipment is confirmed.
  • If an item is unavailable or an order is canceled before shipment, authorizations are voided or charges refunded.

4. Security & Compliance

  • Payments are processed via PCI DSS–compliant gateways using SSL/TLS encryption.
  • We support common anti-fraud checks such as AVS (Address Verification) and CVV verification. Some transactions may require additional verification (e.g., 3-D Secure) when supported by your issuer.
  • Green and Sons does not store full card numbers on our servers.

5. Billing Information

  • Please ensure your billing address matches the address on file with your card issuer to avoid declines.
  • For split shipments, you will not be charged additional amounts unless specifically authorized during checkout.

6. Financing & Installments

  • When available, you may see installment options at checkout (subject to lender approval and terms).
  • Financing decisions, rates, and schedules are determined by the financing provider.

7. Failed or Declined Payments

  • If your payment is declined, please verify the card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address.
  • Contact your bank to allow the transaction, or try a different payment method.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is successfully authorized.

8. Order Verification

  • For your protection, we may request additional verification for high-value orders or when fraud is suspected.
  • If we cannot verify details, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order.

9. Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to post the credit after we process a refund.

10. Price Adjustments & Promotions

  • Promotional pricing applies only during the promotion window and cannot be retroactively applied unless stated.
  • Coupon codes must be entered at checkout; one code per order unless otherwise specified.

11. International Payments

  • At this time, we primarily accept orders within the United States. International orders, if available, may incur foreign transaction fees charged by your bank.
